The Bailiwick of Guernsey consists of the islands of Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm, Jethou, Brecqhou, Burhou and Lihou.

All islands are inhabited, with the exception of Burhou, which is a bird sanctuary.

The Bailiwick of Jersey, as well as the island itself, includes two groups of small islands which are not permanently inhabited, the Minquiers and Ecréhous, and other rocks and reefs within normal territorial limits.
