Historic Environment Record entry
Listed building
Mid-19th century house, with modernised grounds, converted 19th century outbuildings and 20th century extensions. Most interior historic features removed in the 1960-70s. The house retains its overall form and some original windows.
Old Jersey Houses
Although the property's datestone is recorded in the original list in the second volume of the book, and it appears to confirm that the house has 17th century origins, it did not deserve an entry in either volume.
Notes and references
- ↑ This appears to be an otherwise unrecorded variant of the family name Gouray
- ↑ The exact initials on this early stone, which is believed to have been erected for Philippe Gourré, have not been recorded. It is shown here as first recorded in Old Jersey Houses, and this has been repeated in the Jersey Datestone Register, without any apparent attempt to check the stone
