This tree was added to the site in 2013 and reviewed in 2019

The birth and death dates given for Nicolas Hamptonne and his descendants in this tree differ markedly from those shown in the parent tree. We have not yet been able to establish which set of dates prior to 1625 is more accurate, but church records for some of the lower generations indicate that the dates in this tree are more reliable. Where necessary, dates known to be incorrect in the submitted tree have been adjusted. However, some dates remain which are clearly incorrect but for which baptism records have not been located

For the small number of family names for which a search generates more than 1,500 records you will have to refine your search (perhaps using start or end dates) to reduce the number of records found.
