Mid-late 19th century farm group retaining exterior historic character and some features, the range of buildings contributing to the streetscape value of Le Mont de la Mare St Catherine.
Taken over as a casualty receiving station (Truppenverbandplatz) during the German Occupation. A linear range of historic farm buildings comprising the former farmhouse (now Maison du Mont) with a row of attached converted cottages to the west. Other associated outbuildings to the east and north have been significantly altered.
Adjoining three-bay, two-storey cottage (likely former dower wing), single pile with modern rear extension. Small garden areas on roadside with rubble granite boundary walls.
