An unusual combination of mid-19th century and 17th century 3-bay houses which retain exterior character. The houses display Jersey’s vernacular tradition in the use of local materials and details, whilst emulating Georgian fashion.
The building was extensively renovated and altered in the late 20th century. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795. Linear range comprising mid-19th century house to east with smaller 17th century house to west. 20th century extension and single storey garage to north east.
The ground floor windows to the 17th century section are set within the remains of chamfered openings, suggesting an early origin for the building.
