Datestones

Historic Environment Record entry

Despite having 17th and 18th century datestones, this is not a listed building.

A rendered three-bay, two-storey house of mid-late 19th century appearance. Shown as an existing farmstead on the 1935 ordnance survey map. Parallel plan layout.

The property has several early datestones including one from the 17th century on a gatepost.

Old Jersey Houses

A single-paragraph in Vol Two mentions the datestones

Notes and references

  1. It is likely that all the Perchards who erected datestones here were in a direct line of descent but we have not been able to establish all the connections
