A US researcher into this family suggests that Bernard Grandon (1721-1777) does not belong in this tree, for these reasons:

1) His supposed parents, Daniel Grandin and Mary Throckmorton were married in March 1720 NS in Burlington, NJ

2) Their first John was born on 28 Apr 1721 in Burlington, NJ How can her Bernard Grandon have been born to the above parents in the same year? No time or space.

3) Bernard Grandon was also a Weaver by occupation, a typical Huguenot activity, not Jersey at all

5) Bernard is not a name used by any Jersey families

6) Bernard married a fellow Huguenot, Sarah Poincett whose Grandfather Jean Poincet (1677- ) came from Saintonge, France

7) Their children do not have the usual Jersey type names
