An externally ornamented mid-late 19th century cottage overlooking Rozel harbour contributing to streetscape character.

Historic photos of the harbour show it originally stood in isolation, with a progression from very simple exterior and roof, to full height loading opening in south bay, with dormers, to present appearance with double window in south bay and north wing.

Raised terrace to north is remains of WW2 occupation structure.

Alfred Edward Walton built the property to serve a commercial purpose and it was converted into residential accommodation later.
