Descendants of Jean Lempriere
|
This tree, added to the site in 2016, shows the Lempriere family of Dielament Manor. It is a simplified descendancy to show the seigneurs of the fief de Dielament from the 14th century to the 20th. [1] They also owned the manor which is at the heart of the fief, until 1811, when it was separated from the the fief de Rosel, also owned by the family, and the manor sold off, although the fief de Dielament was retained. Further details linked to this tree can be found on Descendants of Everard de Lempriere (970), Descendants of George Lempriere (1430), Descendants of Hugh Lempriere, Sara Dumaresq and Jeanne Herault Lempriere family page and links to other trees
Record Search
You can also select marriages or burials. Select the name you want and when the list of records is displayed you can easily refine the search, choosing a single parish, given name(s) and/or start and end dates. The records are displayed 30 to a page, but by selecting the yellow Wiki Table option at the top left of the page you can open a full, scrollable list. This list will either be displayed in a new tab or a pop-up window. You may have to edit the settings of your browser to allow pop-up windows for www.jerripediabmd.net. For the small number of family names for which a search generates more than 1,500 records you will have to refine your search (perhaps using start or end dates) to reduce the number of records found. - ↑ The Rev J A Messervy calls Reginald Raoul Lempriere the 17th seigneur of Dielament, but we believe that over these 15 generations there were 18 seigneurs, as shown in the tree above, because of the inheritance of the seigneurship by brothers and cousins on various occasions
