27 November 2011 - Have redesigned the Jerripedia main page with much larger rotating gif with more images. Also clearer links from other boxes and a box dedicated to pictures. Looks much better, but I'm not happy that it looks 'different' enough. I need to investigate the design of other Wikis and see if I can come up with something more dynamic for the next change. I'm constrained by my limited knowledge of how to manage text on pages. The use of varying text sizes, as in Picture of the Week, is a clue to how to obtain something visually more dramatic. I don't want to depart too far from the overall style, however.

27 November 2011 - I have uploaded and allocated another batch of 120 pictures. I am now entirely up-to-date with images, but still need to update the galleries. This is a major task, however, and will have to await the processing of more articles. I need to sort out the New pictures page and allocate them to existing pages; or create new pages.

I need to work through my off-line picture folders and decide what needs uploading next.

My information from Mrs Mignot's charts. Note the 4th line is correct where the wife of Thomas is given as "Susanne Herival" Unless your source thinks otherwise! There are some more children in generation 2, which I may add later when I have enough time. Regards Tom
