The Concours Musicales were music festivals held in Jersey and involving French competitors from towns in Normandy and Brittany. Pictures of the events are widely available, dated from 1905 to 1911. It is not clear whether the event was held every year between these dates, but it certainly took place in 1905, 1906, 1907, 1910 and 1911.

The photograph by Percival Dunham below from the St Denis municipal archive showing the arrival of the town's team on the Victoria Pier in 1911, also includes teams from Lamblore, Laval and Paris.

Competitions took place on People's Park, and the event also involved teams marching through St Helier. The Concours seems to have been a St Helier parish initiative. For the 1907 event the Constable, P A Aubin, was president of the organising committee and the honorary secretary was King Street shopkeeper Louis Beghin.
