This tree was added to the site in 2011. Mothers' names were not shown in St Ouen baptism records in the 17th century, so the position in this tree of some of the siblings in generations 3 to 5 is open to doubt. We have not yet been able to precisely link this short tree to any of our others for the family. However, those featured were clearly linked to the others, as all three of the main stems of early Bailhaches featured owners of properties within a few hundred yards of each other at L`Etacq. Furthermore, the personal name Matthieu on this tree passed into the slightly later Descendants of Matthieu Bailhache as did the name Jacques into that of Descendants of Clement Bailhache.

In common with the majority of our trees, this descendancy has been subject to regular review by site editors and checked against Jersey church records. Trees including French ancestry have also been checked as far as possible against French primary records. ↑ In the St Ouen register, the bride of "Jean Bailhache fils Jacques" reads as "Rachel Le Feuvre", although the "R" has a "C" that has been overwritten. This led to the previous belief that she was named Catherine

The brother Jacques "et ses enfans" and sister, Judith received their own bequests, the remainder going to "ma femme", who was not named. The executors were Edouard Orange, Centenier, and Edouard Martel, Sergeant du Roy: Jersey Heritage D/Y/A/7/41
