Datestones
- Datestone GTZ MMC NTZ MTZ 1831. This unusual stone is not recorded by the Datestone Register. It is likely that the TZ refers to Touzel. The stone has clearly been misread or wrongly identified in the HER entry and it should read 'GTZ NMC ....' for the marriage of George Touzel and Nancy Machon in St Clement in 1817. Their daughters were Nancy (1817- ) and Mary (1819- ), corresponding with the other initials on the stone. We have not been able to place George in any of our Touzel trees
Historic Environment Record entry
Apparently not a listed building, but there is a brief HER entry:
- Rural house of 18th century origins. Originally single storey, raised in 19th century. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
