Victorian Gothic house retaining historic character and features.

An unusual building in this rural context and one of a small group in this Parish. With its Gothic elements, including the central entrance bay built forward, it does much to enhance the architectural variety in this area. House in Victorian Gothic style. 2 storey, 5 bay.

Front (south) elevation: gabled central entrance-bay built forward. Renewed slate roofs with fish-scale banding and crested ridge-tiles, render chimneys with moulded rim. Gabled bay with decorated bargeboards and finials, framing oculus and pointed arch window, above round arched window and console-bracket hood over doorway. Walls painted render finish with lined ashlar-effect. 2 pane (1/1) timber sash windows. Lower wing to west with tall brick chimneystack; of group value.
