A single storey 18th century cottage, of a type that has become increasingly rare, retaining historic character and contributing to its rural scenic context. Service wing added in 19th century.

Main house with service wing to rear.

Main house: 2 storey, 4 bay. Front (south) elevation: slate roof with tilt lights, stone chimneys. Random rubble construction with pierre perdu mortar. Windows 4 pane (2/2) timber sashes, timber door.

Rear (north) elevation: matching roof, windows. Rear, north service wing front (south) elevation: pierre perdu render. Rear (north) elevation: pierre perdu mortar.

The interior is divided by three timber beams, 2 are boxed in and 1 is visible, it is chamfered.
