Listed building
A fine rural residence, with good external features surviving, in context with a mature garden and rare late Victorian Gothic Revival outbuilding.
Detached two-storey, five-bay house. Slate hipped roof with two dormers at both front and rear, and pairs of rendered chimneys on each side wall.
Front elevation fronted by a wide porch with fluted Doric pillars sitting on render plinths, topped by a dentilled cornice; glazed sides.
Original east wing much altered and extended in 1960s.
Former 1870s coach house much altered with loss of original character. Garden outbuilding to east
There is an old cottage in the southeast corner which can be seen in paintings and may have been the Chapelle de St Clair.
