Jean and Sara WHITLEY (var) had three children: Francoise (1785-), Jean (1788-1789) and Jeanne (1790-). Marie Esther AHIER bap 1801 married Clement FAUVEL and died in 1876. Jean ROMERIL bapt 1800 - I cannot find a son of this age/name born to Jean ROMERIL and Sara WHITLEY.

Meant to say that Jean ROMERIL (1800-1829) fs Jean ROMERIL/Marie POINGDESTRE md Marie AHIER (1800-1877) fe Charles AHIER and Marie FALLE.

• • 2 Jacques Romeril was the son of a Nicolas but a wealth of Jersey court records testify to Jacques` mother having been Anne Mallet, daughter of Henry, a Grossier relative: see "Descendants of Vincent Romeril". His father was thus Collas (Nicolas) Romeril, husband of Anne Mallet. He needs linking to that tree.

So, who was the Nicolas Romeril who married Pinel, in the father`s generation--see perhaps "Descendants of John Romeril" but I am not sure about the 1586 burial date
