Francois Marie Le Jehan moved to Jersey to work as a farm labourer at the age of 13 in 1888. He returned to France to join the French Infantry in 1896 at Guingamp in Brittany. This is his French Army record which shows that he was transferred to the Territorial Army in 1909. Click on image to view a larger size
