An early 18th century rural house with a good survival of original interior and exterior features. Shown on the Richmond Map of 1795.
Three-bay, two-storey cottage. Pantile roof with box dormer. Stone chimneys with thatch stones. Random rubble with quoins and quoined window surrounds. Uprights on windows are irregular. First floor windows have been heightened, ground floor ones heightened and lowered. New casement windows. Gable end, appears as attic storey on roadside. Location of hatch at attic level with stone surround, including uprights, now blocked in.
Attic has small fireplace in east gable wall with stone lintel. Hatch to the right of it. Original roof trusses, later heightened for new roof.
