Listed building

Mid-19th century shop with an unusual roofline, of streetscape value. Main body two-storey, six-bay. Front elevation: Roof unseen behind parapet. Rendered chimney to west. Projecting cornice at eaves level, parapet over divided into three panels with vermiculated sides. At west end is three-storey, one=bay 'tower' with crenellated parapet.

No 19 is on the left, past Beresford House, in this 1897 photograph. The crenellated tower of No 17½ can be seed just to the left of the suspended globe
No 17½ is the single-bay 'tower' on the left, No 19 is in the middle and No21, now an integral part of the whole property, is on the right
