Can you tell me who this page was created by? Albert Bisson was my Great Grandfather and I have been trinyg to gather information on his ancestors when I came along this page. I want to verify that the information is correct.

Andy, I added the tree back in February. I do not have access to my log of sources at the moment because it is at my house in Spain and I am in France, but as far as I can recall, this was a tree I found either in the Channel Island Family History Society section of Jersey Archive or at the Societe Jersiaise library. As far as I can tell the information is accurate. I cannot confirm births after 1842, but the tree before then seems to fit with church baptism records. You can find all the Bisson records to confirm this for yourself. I am not related to this particular branch of the family as far as I know. Sorry I can't be more helpful

Mike. Since we last emailed I have obtained the birth certificate of Albert George Bisson. This birth certificate shows his birthday as matching this record of 18 June 1871. However, the jerripedia family hosted tree here shows his father as Philippe Bisson if I am reading this right, when in fact his father. Is actually George Bisson and his mother Mary Le Templier. It looks like an error here on the family tree posted. Census records and other documents I have found on jersey heritage also confirm without a doubt too. Thanks for any insight. Andy Siouville.
Thanks Andy. I'll take a fresh look at this tree as soon as possible. Just back from a holiday in Jersey with over 2000 document pages and images scanned in five visits to the Public Library, so I'm a bit snowed under at the moment
