A rural house of 17th century origins, retaining some original features and character. Property appears on the Richmond map. Frontage refaced early 19th century. Five-bay, two-storey detached house. Tall dressed granite chimneys with thatch stones. Small hood over door. Stone boundary wall with stone gateposts, each with a pineapple finial. Iron railings and gate. The house emulates the polite architecture of Georgian fashion but with a continuing local character.
