A very good example of an elegant, large, mid-19th century villa, in spacious grounds, which retains many original external features and with a particularly well preserved interior with many original features of quality.
Two-storey, three-bay villa, hipped roofed, end chimney stacks, rendered facade. Ionic pilasters framing the front elevation. Ionic columned verandah.
Good survival of fine quality interior features including four-panel doors, ceiling roses, alcoves with statuettes, doorway with geometric overlight, mahogany circular well staircase, elaborate fireplaces with inset tiling, panelled window reveals, and tiled floors, acanthus leaf decorative coving.
Main reception rooms joined by elliptical arch with sliding panel doors, decorative cartouche above main reception room door.
