As his great-grandson, Nicolas, is given as marrying in 1597, he will, in all likelihood, have been born in about 1570. The two generations between Nicolas and Guillaume would have to both be first-born children, marrying at a young age, for Guillaume to have been born circa 1500. This is unlikely
