A high quality building with a distinct Baroque style frontage that forms a group with several other bank buildings in a prominent location and relating to Jersey's banking heritage.
First phase built in 1864 for the Channel Islands Bank. The clock tower plus three bays added in 1900 to designs by Adolphus Curry. Further matching two bays added in 1960s.
Corner site with three frontages of a three-bay corner entrance and eight bays to the side, the two to the east being a later addition.
